The Future of Programming

Coding → direct manipulation of data: (sketchpad).
Procedures → goals and constraints: you explain the program what you want and give procedures/parameters. (Pattern matching: you give a template to the system)

Inventing on Principle

1 principle

It talks about how you can have a code while running see the changes in the organigram. Instead of changing the code then run and see the results, then again and again. it just runs once and you can make the changes and see them in the moment.

For me this is very interesting, I’m not too into animation but Ido like design and making things pretty for the users(visual part). i feel like this can help me through my career to improve any visual skill that i already have.

They constantly innovate and create and do this creative ideas. They don't care if they fails actually, it is something good (getting a no in two days is almost as good as getting a yes.). if they fail they now what they shouldn't being doing. the team works together, they actually have a teamwork with innovate and creative ideas. It is a safe space to talk, share and make mistakes.

the video motivated me to create or run experiments with the purpose of creating knowledge not just positive results. It inspired me to keep being creative and make mistakes but to learn quickly from them.

Presentations come out better when you focus merely on what you want to convey, on what you want to happen at that moment of the presentation and not when you worry about what they will say or how they will see you.
It is important to make people think and feel.
Thought flow point where your brain thinks with minimal effort but a lot of movement, you think effortlessly.
The brain tries to relate everything we see with something that is already in our mind.
Less is more: simplify
Put the concepts in a structure to be able to transfer them
Clues are needed for things to stay recorded
Say what you are going to say, where you are going and where you are

What Got You Here Won’t Get You There

We need to be “conscient” of what we can and can not do. we need to be able to know does annoying things that can hold us back, we cannot win all the time so do not expect that and do not brag about how good you are all the time.

Put your time and energy in what you want. You cant change people or yourself sometimes. Do what you like, what you know or think you can learn. even when money is an important factor it is not the main one.

Ourselves is the only person we can blame from our mistakes.
